We are Indulgence Vacations and are excited to assist with your travel arrangements. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us.  The terms "we", "us", "agency", and "our" refers to Indulgence Vacations, its agents, and employees.  The term "supplier" refers to the vendor supplying the travel product; its subcontractors, employees and/or representatives.  The term "you" refers to an individual acting on their own behalf or any others associated with the arrangements, herein "passengers", "travellers", and "credit card holders".

OUR ROLE

We act only in the capacity as an agent for the supplier(s) including air, sea, land, hotels, tour operators, or other forms of accommodation, restaurants, insurances, places of entertainment and other such services when quoted or reserved for you. 

When quoting or selling a tour, cruise, package holiday reserved with a tour operator, we act only as agent for the tour operator.  The tour operator will have made all arrangements with the suppliers of various travel services relating to your itinerary. 

In addition to agency terms & conditions, you are expected to review and understand all supplier terms & conditions (air, sea, land, tour operator, or other forms of accommodation, restaurants, insurances, places of entertainment and other such services), in additions to any base information we disclose or supply.  Full supplier terms & conditions can be reviewed by visiting the identified supplier(s) websites.

Changes could occur without notice and are at the discretion of the supplier and their terms & conditions. We are not responsible or liable for changes in information, itineraries, arrangements, vouchers or credits, refund policies, government entry or exit requirements, travel restrictions, terms & conditions, policies, or financial stability etc.  of any supplier, government, public health agency, or any other external party associated to your arrangements.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

By supplying personal information, you are agreeing to the use and disclosure of said personal information for our internal processes, and communication of said information to supplier(s) solely for the purpose of completing services as requested.  This includes, but is not limited to, contact information, personal details, and credit card information.  We follow all reasonable and appropriate industry standards to protect your personal information and data.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & PASSENGER DOCUMENTATION

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of spelling and personal details on all documentation as required.  This includes, but is not limited to, visas, passports, legal forms, etc.  In the event of an error, immediately contact the issuing provider.

We are not responsible for applications or verification of documentations, IDs, passports, details, or their validity.

DOMESTIC TRAVEL - IDENTIFICATION:
Travellers aged 18 & over require a valid  government issued photo ID; travellers aged 17 and under require one piece of government-issued identification (original birth certificate, health card, or passport).  Original documents are required (no pictures or photocopies), and must be current (not expired).   Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding, no refunds, no exceptions.  

Supplied information for each passenger at time of booking must match identification used for travel:
Names - first(s), middle(s), and last(s), date of birth
You are responsible to ensure all supplied information is accurate and as it appears on the document.
Additional information could be required and must be supplied.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL - PASSPORTS: 
All travellers, including children and infants, are required to hold a valid passport in order to travel internationally.  Passports must be valid before travel, during travel, and must remain valid for a minimum of 6 months after travel.  

Passport details required for each passenger at time of booking:
Names - first(s), middle(s), and last(s), date of birth, issuing country, issuing city, issue date, expiry date, and passport number. 
You are responsible to ensure all supplied information is accurate and as it appears on the document.
Additional information could be required and must be supplied.

We are not liable or responsible for passport & personal information that is not verified, available, or valid at time of booking, or for any incorrectly provided information.  You assume all risks and costs as a result, including, but not limited to, associated fees or penalties from supplier(s) and agency in order make appropriate corrections and changes, cancellations, loss of funds, denied boarding, or denied entry.

ENTRY & EXIT: 
Additional requirements such as, but not limited to, health documents, tests, legal forms, declarations, visas, etc., may be required for entering, travelling within, and exiting a destination within your itinerary or country of residence or departure.  

Entry or exit from a Country, including Canada, could still be refused even if required information and documents are complete. Entry or exit is at the discretion of vendor representatives, Government officials or authorities. 

All Governments & Authorities reserve the right to refuse passengers entry or exit due to impending or previous criminal charges or backgrounds, irrespective of nature or timeline of offence.  Consult a lawyer before booking or travelling. 

The supplier(s) and the agency are not liable or responsible for any changes, legal history, or improper, invalid, or lack of required documentation.  If a passenger is denied boarding, entry or exit, or experiences changes or cancellations due to such, regular fees and terms and conditions apply for both the agency and the supplier.

Living standards and practices within destination may differ from Canada including, but not limited to, accommodations, transportation, utilities, supplies, services and health care.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: 
Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside of Canada and provide emergency medical care if necessary. We are not responsible for lack of compliance or ability to provide such documentation required. 


TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

All payments and purchases for both agency and supplier(s), including but not limited to, service fees, deposits, payments, final payments, insurances, are non-refundable.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
Reservations are not secure until a payment has been applied and confirmed by supplier.  By supplying personal and payment information, you agree to follow the agency and supplier terms & conditions, and understand all arrangements, fees, and penalties are non-refundable.

In order to confirm a reservation, a valid credit card, billing address, phone number, and email is required for credit card holder; plus any/all passengers.

You must follow all outlined payment schedules for all deposits, subsequent, and final payments.  Failure to comply will results in cancellation and loss of any pre-paid funds, and are subject to agency and supplier fees.  

While we try to send payment reminders, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure payment deadlines are met.  Payments are not automatically charged and authorization is requiredminimum of 24 business hours prior to the due date.  In good practice, you should include deadlines and alerts within your calendar and take holidays and business hours into consideration to ensure deadlines are met.  Our business hours are located on our website.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: 
Any changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change.  In addition to imposed supplier costs, agency service fees apply, regardless of source of change.  Change requests must be received in writing.

CANCELLATIONS TO RESERVATIONS: 
Cancellations must be communicated, in writing, and are subject to full supplier terms & conditions at the time of change.  Regardless of source of change agency service fees apply.   

SUPPLIER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Supplier changes and cancellations could occur, without notice, and unfortunately is beyond our control.  In the event that such a situation occur, we will do our very best to assist you in finding alternate option(s) within supplier policies and fare rules. Impacts to other portions of your itinerary could occur, and will fall within the terms & conditions of said suppliers.  Additional costs, fees, or penalties could apply.   In addition to imposed supplier costs, agency service fees apply.  Published prices are based on costs at the time of publication. Tour operators reserve the right to change published prices and increase the cost of packages (even after payment) for situations including, but not limited to, new or increased government imposed taxes (Canada or abroad), fluctuations in currency, or fuel charge increases. We will inform you of any increases as we are notified from the vendor.

TRAVEL CONFIRMATIONS & DOCUMENTS: 
Immediately and thoroughly review all itineraries, confirmations, and travel documentation as supplied by us or directly by suppliers.  You are responsible to immediately report any errors.  Any corrections are subject to a $50 fee per person/per correction agency fee, and are in addition to any supplier fees or penalties.  

Travel documents will be provided to you no later than 10-14 days prior to departure date (where applicable). Please read through all itinerary and document information for important details and instructions.  Immediately inform us of any misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc.  

It is very important that you keep a printed and electronic copy of your travel documents with you in addition to your required passports and documentation.  Do not check any medications, cash, or electronic devices; pack these in your carry-on (within all rules & regulations).  Carry a major credit card with you, along with copies of important documentation and insurance cards for emergencies.

AIR TRAVEL:
It is the responsibility of the passenger to check-in for their flight 24 hours prior to departure (where allowable), and monitor for last minute changes to flight times.  Travellers must comply with all airline, airport, and government laws & policies.  Please follow all airline guidelines, and arrive at the airport no later than two to three hours prior to scheduled flight departure time, and allow time for security clearance.  

Airline boarding passes are printed at the time of check in, online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. 

HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELLERS: 
Please notify us if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so we can annotate this on your reservation. Typically suppliers will honor purchased or complimentary (if available) packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.  You must bring a copy of your marriage for verification. Failure to provide verification could result in the denied privileges (when/if applicable). 

ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT CHECK IN/OUT:
Check-in time at most hotels is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready, and in some cases, rooms may not be ready until after this. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay, change into something more comfortable, and start enjoying the use of amenities on property until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.  

The same applies when checking out, your transfer to airport might be after the required check-out time.  You are required to check-out by the designated time, and the resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may continue to use amenities on property until it's time to depart.  Sometimes, but not always, resorts will offer an area to freshen up and change before departing. 

DRESS CODE:
Please be advised that some hotels, resorts, air, cruise, or restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt & closed-toe shoes (men), or formal dress & shoe attire (women).   Refer to supplier website for full details and prepare/pack accordingly.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel insurance is highly recommended for medical, cancellation, delays, interruption, baggage, and cancel for any reason.  Speak to your agent or preferred travel insurance vendor for coverage options.  Many policies must be added at time of booking for maximum coverage.  Premium Protection Plan with Cancel for Any Reason Protection can only be purchased within 72 hours of initial deposit or reservation payment.

When purchasing insurance, it is your responsibility to review and understand the full policy; it's coverages, limitations, qualifiers, exclusions, and claims or emergency procedures. 

We are not responsible or liable for lack of review, or any claims, costs, denial of coverage, decisions, limitations, exclusions, policies, or terms & conditions, etc. of supplier, insurers, or any other parties involved. 

When purchasing supplier cancellation plans or relying on personal or credit card insurance plans, it is important to review and understand all coverages, policies, qualifications, limitations, exclusions, and terms & conditions within.  It is your responsibility to ensure you are fully covered for all needs, and topping up any components not covered or adequate.  

When travel insurance is not purchased in at time of booking, you are considered to have waived travel insurance.  When one or some component(s) is/are purchased, but not all, you are considered to have waived all remaining insurances or top-ups.  By waiving any and all insurances you assume all risks, along with any unexpected and associated costs, losses, penalties etc.  

AGENCY SERVICE FEES:

Fees cover our work as required within regular business hours as advertised on our website.  We are closed on all statutory and local holidays within the Province of Nova Scotia (or the province in which your agent resides).  Holidays are not listed on our website. 

ALL fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable; regardless if source.  Fees are charged at time of work required and are pre-authorized by this agreement.

Modifications:
Corrections - $50 per person, per correction.
Cancellations - $50 per person, per cancellation.
Changes - $50 per person, per change.

Booking & Planning:
Research  Fee: 
Applies to individual and group bookings, as quoted.  Quote is based on required itinerary and needs.*
Destination Wedding & Romance Travel Planning: As quoted, based on itinerary and needs.*
All-Inclusive & Cruise 'Plan To Go' Fee: A deposit of $250 is required for sourcing and quoting.  If booked within 7 days, the planning fee is credited to final payment of your booking.  If not booked within 7 days, the full fee is renumeration for work completed to date.  If trip is booked then cancelled, the planning fee is non-refundable and regular cancellation fees apply.*

*NOTE
- Supplied itinerary options are based on initial consultation. It is important to communicate all details during your consultation to ensure we are setting proper planning and quoting expectations.  
- A Maximum of 3 sourced itinerary options are supplied for 1 destination unless otherwise specified upfront.  In the event further work and/or research is requested; a minimum subsequent fee of $50 is charged per rendition.  Pricing and availability could change without notice, if supplied pricing changes at booking you will be notified for acceptance.  If further sourcing or quotes are required, additional fees will apply.  
- Services and itinerary planning should only be requested when ready to secure travel plans to prevent subsequent fees and additional work.
- All planning and research fees include booking & agency services when and itinerary is confirmed / booked via agency.  
- For agency research, but independent booking, agency is not responsible after information is supplied.

Emergency Services:
Emergency fees apply to any urgently requested assistance outside of our regular business hours.  After hour fees are charged at $50 per hour and are in addition to any associated fees.  After 1 hour, fees are charged in 30 minute increments ($25 per 30 minutes).  A $50 minimum fee applies.

Travelling With Pets:
Travelling with pets is at the discretion of each airline and subject to their terms & conditions / fare rules / aircraft allowances, etc.  

Additional paperwork and information on the animal is required. If agency assistance is required, there is a $75  service fee to assist (in the event of detailed or extra involvement, additional fees will apply).

Passengers are required to provide all requested information and is responsible for all deviations or denied boarding in the event of discrepancies.  All fees, changes in fares, financial expenses / implications etc. are the sole responsibility of the passenger.  

Indulgence Vacations and its agents are not responsible for the animal, its treatment, or any decisions or actions of any airline, airport, employees, contractors, or sub-contractors.  When travelling with a pet, passengers release Indulgence Vacations and it's agent's of any liability or accountability as all circumstances are beyond our control.

In addition to all agency fees, you are responsible for any supplier charges or fees per their terms & conditions.


LIABILITY

Travellers assume all risks associated with travel, including but not limited to, personal belongings, safety, health, damages, injuries, etc.. We are not be responsible or liable for any claims, loss or damages, or expenses arising out of injury, whether physical or mental, accidental, death or delay or inconvenience to the you or any other person involved, including damage to luggage or any other personal property from any cause whatsoever.

All travellers are expected to act in a responsible and respectable manner and follow all local laws and customs.  Travellers are liable and responsible for personal actions, behaviours and damages, along with any legal or monetary implications due to such.

We are not responsible or expected to give legal advice or advise on legal matters or actions of governments or its officials.  

To the best of our knowledge and information, the description and information provided about the various services set out in the itinerary are accurate. However, we shall not be liable should any supplier or services not conform or meet such descriptions, living standards and practices at the destination.  International standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.


AUTHORIZATION:

When you are supplying passenger or details, signing agreements, or communicating on behalf of another individual other than yourself, you are therein responsible for immediately reviewing and communicating all details and correspondence, including, but not limited to, our terms & conditions, all supplier terms & conditions, travel documentation requirements, itinerary details including changes and/or cancellations, monetary balances, payments, deadlines, laws, requirements, etc.  You assume full liability and responsibility for all information provided, and are financially responsible in the event of a discrepancy, error, miscommunication or lack thereof. 

By submitting information and supplying payment information:
- You understand you are authorizing agents to completed work as mentioned and are pre-authorizing any and all agency fees.  Agency fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable.  
- You are confirming all information is correct.  This includes all passenger, itinerary and payment details on all documentation supplied by us and the supplier(s).  You agree to all agency and supplier terms & conditions, and agree to comply with all all applicable deadlines, requirements, and laws.  You understand you are not only signing for yourself, but for all other parties involved including the passengers on the arrangements and the credit card holders whose card is being supplied and used for payments.  
- You are agreeing to all supplier terms & conditions, and understand all payments are non-refundable and non-negotiable.
